Volunteer Orientation: Volunteer Bike Donations Processor [4/16/2025]

Join us in processing bike donations that support our mission and help those in need! We are seeking volunteers who are willing to roll up their sleeves and help us process the hundreds of donated bikes we receive each year. 

Attend this Volunteer Orientation session to learn more about this role and what we’re hoping to accomplish together.

At our orientation session, you will learn about volunteering with BNB, hear about our programs, and determine the best match between your skillset and our needs. Following orientation, you will be able to sign up for volunteer shifts. Shifts will be on Thursdays, with ocaisonal Saturday events.

Requirements

• Must wear closed-toed shoes and have a willingness to get dirty!
• Have basic bike part knowledge
• Attend an orientation
• Attended at least three volunteer nights or one container loading in the past
• Comfortable handling / lifting bikes
• Comfortable with working in our warehouse and driving around (as a passenger) to pick-ups in the Boston area
• 16 and up. Under 18 requires parent or guardian permission.

Commitment

We are seeking volunteers who are able to commit to at least two shifts a month, for at least six months.
