Try an E-Bike in Mattapan! [4/24/2025]

Are you interested in learning more about e-bikes (electric bikes)? As part of the Boston E-Bikes Incentive Program, in which eligible residents can receive a discount voucher ($800 – $1,500) towards the purchase of a personal e-bike, the city is hosting a series of Try-an-E-Bike Events – free and open to the public!

Stop by Mildred Avenue Community Center on Thursday April 24th from 4pm to 6pm to see the e-bikes, ask questions, and test-ride e-bikes from Bikes Not Bombs! We’ll be on hand as one of the bike shops participating in the Boston E-Bikes Incentive Program and the statewide Massachusetts E-Bike Voucher Program. This event will also include a showcase of adaptive e-bikes for adults with disabilities who cannot access traditional cycling. Helmets will be provided for attendees testing e-bikes.
