Tool Time - Work On Your Bike!
How It Works
Tool Time is held at the BNB Shop at 18 Bartlett Square, at 7pm, on the first Monday of every month, giving access to bike stands and basic tools so that you can work on your own bike. This is a great opportunity to do regular maintenance or parts replacements that may require specialty tools. Although there will be a shop mechanic there to help you, we ask that you only attempt repairs that you know how to do and are able to complete in less than two hours. Many parts will be available for sale but we encourage you to pick them up ahead of time to ensure that they’re in stock and accessible. Space is limited and an RSVP is required so call the shop at 617-522-0226 to sign up.
If no RSVPs are received by 5pm the Saturday prior to the event Tool Time will be canceled.
For BNB Members
- Anyone with a current BNB membership which you have purchased or was awarded to you for a $35 donation, bring your membership card to participate. (For questions about your membership, contact Erica Rotman at firstname.lastname@example.org).
- Volunteers, you also earn your "membership" here through your work hours, so you don't need a membership card (though it's cool if you have one!) Instead you can trade 8 volunteer credits for each 2 hour session of Tool Time, just use your volunteer time sheet.
Sign Up In Advance
We require sign-ups to make sure everyone gets a stand. Call the shop at 617-522-0226. If no RSVPs are received by 5pm the Sunday prior to the event, Tool Time will be canceled.
