Winter Group Bike Rides! January 20th, February 3rd, March 2nd, and April 6. Upcoming ride on Saturday, February 3rd will be in Dorchester/Roxbury! A family and beginner friendly bike ride through the neighborhood, with free hot chocolate! Don't have a bike? Register online to request a Bluebike for the ride. January 20th 2024: Start and end at Bikes Not Bombs, 284 Amory St, Jamaica Plain. Meet at 10:30am. Ride leaves promptly at 11am. Email bostonbikes@boston.gov for more info.

Join us on Saturday February 3rd for the winter group bike ride in Roxbury & Dorchester! Choose the full route for 6 miles, or the 3 mile half-route. The Boston Transportation Department (BTD) is organizing a series of four winter group rides between January and April. Each ride will follow a beginner and family friendly bike route through the neighborhood.

Full route: 6 miles

For a 6 mile loop, riders can join us at 10:45am in Franklin Park Zoo. We will depart at 11am and make our way to Fields Corner, pausing at 12pm for free hot chocolate and for additional riders to join us. Then we will continue back towards Franklin Park, ending at the same starting location around 1pm.

Half route: 3 miles

If you’re looking for a shorter ride, then join us when we stop in Fields Corner at home.stead bakery & cafe at 12pm. We will start with some free hot chocolate, then the ride will then head to Franklin Park, arriving around 1pm.

- Ending location: in front of Franklin Park Zoo (1 Franklin Park Rd, Boston, MA 02121)
