Have you been affected by the Red Line Shutdown? Are you interested in commuting from Ashmont to JFK/UMass or downtown by bike? Join Bikes Not Bombs and the City of Boston’s Chief of Streets for a group ride this Friday, October 27th as we make a morning commute from Ashmont to JFK/UMass by bike.

Our convoy will meet outside of Ashmont Station between 7:30 and 7:45am, with our ride departing at 8:00am sharp. We will then ride to the JFK/UMass MBTA Station, about 2.8 to 3 miles. Riders may stop here to take the Red Line, or can join us as we continue downtown and ride a further 3.5 miles to City Hall Plaza.

You may ride your own bike or use Bluebikes! If you are a City of Boston resident affected by the Red Line shutdown, you may be eligible for a Free Bluebikes Pass. Interested Boston residents should fill out the form at this link to sign up for a free pass while these passes last.
