Bikes Not Bombs Bike Drive at The Fessenden School!
The Fessenden School is hosting a bike drive on Saturday, April 5th from 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM. The goal of the event is to engage the School’s Leadership Lab students in a hands-on, impactful community event. They will help Bikes Not Bombs collect and process donated bikes that we will use in local programming and for shipment to our international partners in the Global South.

Anyone from Newton and the surrounding communities are welcome to participate in the Bike Drive! We suggest an optional donation of $40 with every bicycle donated to assist with tools and parts needed for repairs, as well as transportation costs associated with sending refurbished bikes overseas (which is currently estimated at $10k to $12k to ship one container). All donated bikes are eligible for tax deductions and Bike Not Bombs is a 501(c)3 non-profit.
