Help us get bikes to Afghan refugees in Greater Boston!

Bikes Not Bombs and the International Institute of New England are excited to announce a partnership to bring refurbished bicycles to Afghan refugees newly resettled in the Greater Boston area. Hundreds of refugees have arrived since the fall of Afghanistan and are in need of your assistance to be mobile in their communities, to access various resources, and to commute to work -- all vital first steps towards self-sufficiency.

BNB & IINE are seeking donations of used adult bicycles (in good or repairable condition). Volunteers will conduct safety checks and minor repairs on your donations before they are distributed to those in need. Each bike will be given to its new owner with a helmet, lock, light, and bike safety literature in Dari or Pashtu.

If you are interested in donating a bike or bikes, please fill out the form at this link.

Please also consider making a financial contribution to Bikes Not Bombs if you are able.

Thank you so much!
