Support Steve Murphy's Ride to New Orleans!

Bikes Not Bombs is honored to spotlight our long-term local volunteer & supporter Steve Murphy, who is riding his bike from Boston to New Orleans, a trip spanning over 2,000 miles across the country.

Will you help him reach his $10,000 goal?

As he rides, he's also fundraising for BNB!

Steve here. 50 something local guy with a biking problem. So much so that I’m pedaling from Boston to New Orleans this Fall. 2,000 miles from the Northeast, thru Appalachia, Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss, into the Big Easy – all solo and self contained on the bike. Camping mostly, but a few hotels too.

Using this ride as an opportunity to help out Bikes Not Bombs. BNB is easily my favorite Not-For- Profit ever! I’ve seen firsthand their direct and immediate impact not only here in the city, but in communities throughout the Global South.

Let’s help Bikes Not Bombs continue to make the world better – Please Donate!

Follow along with my ride beginning August 30th.

Update: as of September 5th, Steve has ridden over 440 miles and already raised over $5,200! Thank you so much for everyone who has donated, and of course a huge thank you to Steve for inspiring these generous gifts. Keep on pedaling, Steve!

Thank you for your support, Steve!

We hope you will follow along on his journey and make a gift in honor of his effort.
