Container Packing Volunteer Training

Date:
Sat, Feb 25th, 2017, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Location:
BNB Warehouse
Address:
10 Harvard St, Dorchester, MA 02126

Ever wonder how our containers get packed? Been to a container loading before and eager to be on the inside of the container packing bikes? Come to a short training session to learn BNB's distinct packing method from our expert packer volunteers!

We are in need of some more skilled people who can help us pack 500-600 bikes inside our containers to our international partners. We are looking for people who can both be in 'the stacks' packing bikes, as well as folks at the front of the container helping to organize bikes coming in. The front of the container role involves lifting bikes in, and packing requires strength and endurance to get bikes into just the right spot.

We'll host the training on Saturday (2/25), packing 1-2 rows of bikes in the container, and pack the rest of the container at the regular loading on Sunday (2/26). We'll provide lunch for volunteers.

Please email Charlotte, International Programs Director, at charlotte@bikesnotbombs.org if you would like to attend!
