Community Advisory Council Meeting [July 30th]
We’re excited to launch our 2025 series of Community Meetings & Transportation Forums at Bikes Not Bombs! This is your chance to share your insights on biking, infrastructure, and safety in Boston. Guiding this work will be a team of advocates, leaders, and community members comprising our Community Advisory Council (CAC). As we continue this work, we’re looking for prospective CAC members to come learn more. If you already know that you want to join, apply here today!
Join us at Bikes Not Bombs on Wednesday July 30th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for our next CAC meeting. We’ll get to know each other, prepare for our Great Commuter Challenge event, talk about our advocacy work planned for 2025 and beyond, and have some dinner (think salad and pizza). Please RSVP to give us an accurate head count.
On the agenda:
- As part of our Safer Streets campaign, we’ll prepare for our Great Commuter Challenge! You’ll work alongside BNB staff, board members, volunteers, Youth Apprentices, and community members to help finalize event plans.
- Sign up for volunteer roles for the Great Commuter Challenge or learn how to promote the event in your network
- BNB will share out updates on our programs and campaigns: Bikes For All, Wheels to Wellness, and Safer Streets

What is the Community Advisory Council?
The CAC will serve as a platform for community members to share their insights, experiences, and ideas regarding biking, infrastructure, and safety in our city. Council members will work alongside Bikes Not Bombs staff to provide feedback on our projects, identify key issues affecting our community, and help guide our advocacy strategies.
Community Advisory Council (CAC): Why Join?

RSVP: Please let us know if you can attend! Everyone is welcome to learn more and consider joining our Council. Attendees will be invited to formally join the Council on a personal basis based on interest, experience, and availability.
