BNB Cyclocross Team Competes!

News released on:
Oct 7th, 2010

Bikes Not Bombs staff and community members have formed a cyclocross team and are sporting the new BNB cycling jerseys as they race. Races began in mid September and will continue through the winter, testing the physical limits of these brave riders. Already, Charlie Schubert has put Bikes Not Bombs on the podium three times by grabbing 2nd place in all of the following races: Gloucester, Sucker Brook Cross, and Quad Cross (men's CAT 4). The team has nearly a dozen members that will continue to represent Bikes Not Bombs as they scramble up the muddy hills, leap over the obstacles, and sprint through the tightly wound terrain of these notoriously challenging courses.

Also in cyclocross racing:

BNB Board Member David Wilcox competes in the Elite Men's category for team Pedros.

And Adam Myerson, also racing in Elite Men's, has partnered with BNB by donating a sponsorship. As Adam displays the BNB name and logo loud and proud on the lower back of his team kit, he tells everyone following him what he cares about -- Bikes Not Bombs! (see more on Adam's partnership with BNB at http://bikesnotbombs.org/adam-myerson.)
