This is your chance to share your insights on biking\, infrastructure\, and safety in Boston. Guiding this work will be a team of advocates\, leaders\, and community members comprising our Community Advisory Council (CAC). Ahead of our first meeting\, we’re looking for prospective CAC members to come learn more! If you already know that you want to join\, apply here today! \n——- \nWhat is the Community Advisory Council? \nThe CAC will serve as a platform for community members to share their insights\, experiences\, and ideas regarding biking\, infrastructure\, and safety in our city. Council members will work alongside Bikes Not Bombs staff to provide feedback on our projects\, identify key issues affecting our community\, and help guide our advocacy strategies. \nCommunity Advisory Council (CAC): Why Join?  \n\nWork alongside youth and young adults training to become bike advocates\nLearn about local biking policies\nCollaborate with community advocates\nShare your experiences and ideas\n\nWhat to Expect:   \nWe’ll introduce the CAC\, discuss goals\, and plan our first community input meeting on April 30\, 2025. \nRSVP: Please let us know if you can attend by applying to join the council here\, or emailing BOCA@bikesnotbombs.org. DESCRIPTION:At Tool Time\, our doors are open to anyone who wants to work on their bicycle\, use our tools\, or get more familiar with bicycle components. \nBikes Not Bombs’ trained Youth Mechanics will be able to assist any Tool Time participants during this time. No experience is necessary! We welcome anybody who wishes to explore their curiosity in how tools and bicycle components interact. You bring the bike and the supplies\, we have the tools and the space.
