Bike-A-Thon: Event Overview
Join us for the 35th annual Bike-A-Thon on September 11th, 2022!
Overview
Riders can expect to arrive at Stony Brook Field on the day of the event between 6:45am and 10:30am, depending on the route they are riding. Once you have arrived, riders may park their bikes (valet bike parking is provided), register if they have not already done so, enjoy a provided breakfast, and get their bike checked over before heading out for their ride!
All of the Bike-A-Thon routes will be clearly marked on the road and GPX routes will be available for download and use with a smartphone or a GPS bike computer. Each route will have at least one rest stop where riders can hydrate and fuel up on snacks like PB&J, protein bars, or fruit. Each rest stop will be staffed by volunteers, including a bike mechanic and a medical professional for any bike repair or first aid needs.
After making their way back to Jamaica Plain, riders return to Stony Brook Field for an after-party with delicious food! A hearty and healthy lunch is provided, which will include many vegan and vegetarian options. Relax and enjoy your lunch while listening to live music with family and friends!
