Member Workshop - work on your own bike!

Dec 4 2008 - 7:00pm
Thursday December 4th
7:00-9:30pm

HOW IT WORKS:
The Member Workshops happen 7-9:30pm at the BNB Hub at 284 Amory, giving access to bike stands and basic tools so that you can work on your own bike. You may be able to get some advice from other members working on their projects but you should come basically prepared for what you want to do. We do not sell parts at the Hub so you'll need to purchase parts in advance at the BNB Bike Shop at 18 Bartlett Sq, or another source. If you're planning an advanced project check it out with Matt Coe in advance.

WHO CAN COME:
* Anyone with a current BNB membership which you have purchased or was awarded to you for a $ donation, bring your membership card to participate. (Lost it? Contact jeremy@bikesnotbombs.org for a new one).
* Volunteers, you also earn your "membership" here through your work hours, so you don't need a membership card (tho it's cool if you have one!) Instead you can trade 4 volunteer credits for each hour of Workshop time, just use your volunteer time sheet.

SIGN UP IN ADVANCE: We require sign-up to make sure everyone gets a stand. Contact Matt Coe, mattcoe@bikesnotbombs.org or 617-522-0226.

SKILLED VOLUNTEERS WANTED: If you have some advanced mechanics skills and would like to share with the BNB community, let us know! We could use some more volunteers to help staff these workshops, taking questions and giving mechanical advice.
