In the park at the Stony Brook T, Boylston and Lamartine streets, Jamaica Plain

INTERACTIVE STREET!

At the Green Roots Festival, Boylston Street in front of the Stony Brook T station will be closed to cars, and instead will become an interactive transit zone. Come out and test ride a variety of bikes, cargo-carrying bike trailers, and family cycling options such as trail-a-bikes and kid trailers.

Ride through a temporary installation of bike lane and separated cycle-track to learn how these ideas are changing Boston now and can do more in the future. Pin the bike lane on Boston, in a game designed to bring more public participation into the planning of where bike lanes will change Boston next.

Get the update and give your opinions on public transit issues and pedestrian issues in Boston. Bikes Not Bombs Bike Shop, ACE and the T-Riders Union, Walk Boston, Livable Streets, MassBike, and the Boston Cyclists Union will all be on the street to run these activities and talk with festival-goers.

FATHER'S DAY!

Have a fun and special Dad's day at the Green Roots Festival, whether you're finishing the Bike-A-Thon or just coming out to enjoy the park. We'll have a professional photographer at a photo station to take a Father's Day photo that we'll email to you. (Free!)
