Spring 2012 GIRLS IN ACTION
May 7 – June 14, 2012Monday - Thursday, 3:30 - 6:30 each day.
This all-girls program, based on our co-ed Earn-A-Bike, is a great way for girls aged 12-18 to learn, make friends, get active and earn a bike of their own! Building upon Earn-A-Bike's mechanics, fitness, safety, and environmental curriculum, Girls in Action includes field trips and workshops on self-esteem, women's health and even yoga! No experience in biking or mechanics necessary to apply. And of course, as with all other Earn-A-Bike classes, program graduates ride away on their very own refurbished bicycles!
This is an intensive program, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30 pm each day. Youth without schedule conflicts are given preference.

We can also email or mail applications to you or you can pick them up in person. Applications can be returned to Bikes Not Bombs in person or by mail. Program cost is $25-$50 sliding scale - you decide how much you can pay. If you are unable to afford any class fee, you can submit a fee waiver request instead of payment.
