
Ride the BIKE-A-THON!
Join hundreds of riders for a meaningful and beautiful event on Sunday June 20th, 2010!
Every rider furthers BNB's mission with your fundraising and participation, while enjoying a beautiful ride and the other awesome folks riding!

How to Register
- Go to the registration page to register online.
- Or call our Hub at 617-522-0222 (or on the weekends call our Shop at 617-522-0226).
- Or stop by one of our two locations to register in-person.
The Rides
Choose from one of three routes:
- 15 Mile Ride
- 25 Mile Ride
- 65 Mile Ride
New 65 mile route for 2010!
Great options for everyone: families and children, new cyclists, daily commuters, fitness and distance trainers. These rides are fully supported with food, mechanics, maps, road markings, following vehicles, and more. Your ride will end at the Green Roots Festival where you'll get fed and celebrated!
All 3 Bike-A-Thon rides on June 20th start and end in the big field in front of the Stony Brook T stop (Orange Line) at Boylston and Amory Streets, Jamaica Plain MA 02130.

Teams
Put together a team and become eligible for team prizes and publicity on our teams page!Fundraising Details
- The minimum fundraising amount for the Bike-A-Thon is a low $150 for ages 18 and up. For younger riders, see our youth fundraising page.
- After registering, you will have the option of creating a personal fundraising page that will allow you to email a link out to your friends and family for them to sponsor you online. It's an easy way to get sponsors!
- Also after registering we will mail you a packet containing instructions for receiving sponsorships in the form of check or cash.

Prizes
Raise as much money as possible to qualify for prizes! Prizes are awarded based on amount of money brought in by the morning of the event. And all riders will receive this year's new T-Shirt and water bottle.

GREEN ROOTS FESTIVAL!
Celebrate sustainable urban living with other people from your community on Sunday June 20th, 2010!
When: noon - 5:30 pm
Where: The park at Stony Brook T-stop (Boylston & Lamartine Streets in Jamaica Plain)
It's free! Join us in the park! Everyone is welcome to attend, share and learn about sustainable urban living and environmental and social justice issues.
Come out to enjoy live music, food, speakers, workshops, information booths, and children's activities.

Exhibitors
We welcome you and your group or business to exhibit, making connections with the public and other groups, sharing your information and recruiting more help for your activities.The Green Roots Festival is focused on environmental sustainability within the framework of social justice. We welcome groups dealing with environmental issues including transportation, climate change, food production, energy, natural resources, green space, and much more. All groups working for social justice are invited, including activists on affordable housing, racial equality, peace building, youth empowerment, and more.
